It appears that Dragons need shade and comfort too! The Cush 'n' Shade® was presented on the BBC's hit program, The Dragons Den, on Monday Nov 5th and after a nervous start and a gruelling interrogation, two of the five investors liked the product so much, they invested £100,000 in Cush 'n' Shade Ltd. For those of you that are not familiar with the programme, The Dragons Den is one of BBC's most successful reality shows. Aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their innovative idea or product to five well known and very successful entrepreneurs. After intensive questioning, which can leave the audience cringing on behalf of the budding entrepreneur, the Dragons decide whether they want to invest in the company or (as is more often the case) send the entrepreneur away a nervous wreck and wishing they had never entered the Den. After what seemed like an eternity in the den, three of the five investors, Deborah Meaden, James Cann and Peter Jones (also a judge on America's Next Inventor) expressed an interest in investing in the Cush 'n' Shade. Unfortunately, they could only accept two of the offers so we were delighted to accept Peter and Deborah's offer. Send to a friend |
